The area of interest pertaining to the Baglio is located in an area noted as the most vast settlement of Greek and Sicilian necropoles in the area of Selinunte, already rich in archaeological findings and stratigraphic data useful for further study in this field.
To permit researchers and students to work directly on location
The possibility to carry out research and internships in excavation activities as well as restoration activities, in a unified coordinative training process. The application of archaeological experimental methodologies, combining the activity of examination and research with historical, anthropological and morphological studies for the formulating of expositive and museographic hypotheses.
To offer continuity to archaeological research
CAM is a permanent scientific structure, alternating time committed towards research with that of study and exposition, guaranteeing a constant level of interest in this territory and in its cultural richness.
