Archaeological grounds

The recounting of a place is normally left to the description of its material “imprints” or, often, to the story of the nature and of the landscape to which it belongs and, as in our case, referring to photographic images.
Without taking away from the fascination of images, the basic elements upon which the “ambiance ” of ancient memory are based must not be neglected; sometimes this tendency creates the risk of concentrating on the frame and not seeing the art piece. We cannot allow that the charm of the place makes us neglect the necessity to render that which we have created “inhabitable”.

To inhabit is to “have the habit” with a place, repeatedly live its spaces, trace routes of necessity, return to perceive its contextual role, the setting of our actions.

It is for this that we are committed to ensuring that many persons make the habit with the place and with all the things we are doing to make CAM a living part of the territory.
