Concentrated in this area are the activities for public use, distinguishable by an educational /museal itinerary distributed in different halls of various surface areas and heights, according to the type of expositional characteristics needed. There is a multimedia hall, an area for temporary exhibitions, a large, double-height museum hall whose itinerary permits the viewing of the exhibits from above by way of a balcony which connects the museum halls created on the upper level. The museal walkway leads to and concludes directly an area designated for the exhibition, consultation and sale of informational material (bookshop).

These areas are adjoining and in continuity with a snack/refreshment area (cafeteria). The upper floors of the main building, defined as the proprietor’s quarters, have been converted into offices for the carrying out of administrative functions.

Objectives
- The creation of a museum for the exhibition of local archaeological collections and pieces of major relevance retrieved during excavations
Collaborative undertakings with other public entities and private individuals in order to enrich the museographic project, which may in turn result in the cultural heritage of this area of the territory, in its own geographical context, to be utilized by visitors.
- The creation of a versatile exposition space for art exhibits and for a variety of expositive initiatives
CAM was conceived and designed to offer a vast array of opportunities for the enjoyment of artistic initiatives; every area of this structure is thus considered a vital and practicable terrain in an articulated cultural experience.
